“My Father Picked Me Up From Prison”
A murder drama script for a short film or play. Lenny is picked up at his release from prison by his father in a stolen car with cocaine, and a hooker in the back seat. As the ride goes on the past “bad history” of the father’s relationship with his son is provided in dialogue, giving the multiple motives for Lenny’s murder of his father with a tire iron when the car gets a flat tire.

“Balance Of Power”
A murder drama script for a short film or play. Travis, an older local who raped one of the waitresses years ago in the parking lot of the diner she still works at and threatened to kill her children if she went to the police, comes to the diner late at night near closing time and parks next to her car in a dark corner of the parking lot, as he did years ago. As she waits on him, reluctantly, Bonnie sees where he is parked and is certain that he intends to repeat the act that night. He is the only patron in the diner, and her coworker is about to check out.. Convinced that he came to assault her again the waitress and her fellow waitress, a lifelong friend, kill Travis with kitchen knives and throw his body in the dumpster.

Production Notes:
The scripts are 10 and 13 pages in length. Each has three actors.
“My Father Picked Me Up From Prison” occurs in and around a car (plus an establishing shot of the exterior of a prison) as the car drives down the road and stops on a dirt road, where the murder is committed and the body disposed of. “Balance Of Power” occurs in a diner/cafe and its parking lot.
Each would allow for a simple, inexpensive and fast production. No special effects are indicated. I could compose any music/sound effects, with perhaps one third party song with possibly a licensed master/sync (or my performance of a cover at it) for one of the scripts . Costuming would likely be what the actors already own. I could serve as an actor (Travis in “Balance of Power” and the father in “…Prison”) in each of them, drawing on my acting experience with Depot Theatre in Westport, NY).
